A Dream Come True!

It's been a long time since I have opened this blog..and luckily I remembered my password! This is really not updated, today is October 23, 2012 already. I just want to share my simple joys in here. 

So many things have happened and changed. Right now, I'm already Mrs. Sarmiento and an expecting mom to a baby girl! Yes! Ada Catrin she is! :)

Yesterday, October 22,2012, me and my hubby went for our baby's biometry scan/ultrasound. I'm on my 25th week already and this is the right time to know the gender of my baby according to my OB Dr. Clemente. In advance, we purchased a great deal on Ensogo an ultrasound with 4D pictures of the baby on a cd/dvd and gender determination, but unfortunately, the biometry report is not included which is what we really need to show to our OB. So we have to pay additional 700 pesos (Daddy was so upset, haha!) When the session started, Daddy and I was teary-eyed as we saw our precious little one. We only had glimpse of her facial feature, she's a bit shy. She's not showing up that much, until I went sidewards, and then we saw her private part, it's a girl! :) Her daddy was very happy because she really wanted a girl, but of course I too was very happy that I will have my mini me. 

Mommy and Daddy can't wait to see our little angel Ada Catrin! :) Thank you Lord God for blessing me a loving husband and a wonderful baby girl. It's really such a dream come true! 

It's All About Fashion

I am now currently interested and loving reading fashion blogs. It makes me inspired to have a new look and how to look good. They're also giving me ideas on the latest fashion trends. ^__^ But on the other hand, I am a lazy buff. So how can I apply what I have learned? Sigh.. :( 

At the office, I just wear clothes which are comfortable to me. I don't mind how do I look as long as I can go to office with clothes, haha! Hindi ako fashionista kasi! Ayoko ng pinapansin yung suot ko, naiilang ako, ehehe. But as I was browsing the internet, I found these super chic blogs which I admire, really..

What I have to do now is to invest for some quality clothes, bags, accessories and shoes of course! More ipon and more tipid ako neto! Haha! But I think I can't really afford their signatured items, sigh again.. =(

I suddenly thought of my favorite color, which is pink. And while I'm dreaming about having my own church wedding someday, I will definitely make it my motif! ^__^ But I want it to be a dark pink. Like what's shown on the picture above (credits to the owner).

Now I don't have to worry which motif we will use on my wedding. What I should worry about is that, will I be able to have a church wedding? :( sigh.. 

Ada Catrin

Nakakatamad! Lazy morning sa office, walang pending documents, walang nangaabala, walang tawag, in short walang trabaho. I suddenly thought of searching names in the internet. Names? Para saan? Haha! I'm dreaming of having a child. Twin sana para isang irihan lang! And then I found a site na so helpful para sa mga magulang na naghahanap pa lang ng magandang ipapangalan sa kanilang magiging baby. Think Baby Names hinalungkat ko ang site na to at nakakita ng napakadaming pangalan as well as yung meaning ng mga ito. I had fun browsing the site. Napapangiti nga ako habang nagbabasa. Naeexcite. Naoverwhelmed ako sa mga meaning. And then I found myself making my own list of names. 

The names who caught my attention most were Ada, Catrin, Cid and Arrlo. They have their own different meanings and country or language where they originated. 

Ada means "noble" which originated from old German language. 

Catrin means "pure" is of Greek origin.

Cid means "Lord" its origin came from Spanish and Arabic.

Arrlo means "barberry tree" it is of Spanish origin. According to wikipedia, a barberry tree is valued for crime prevention; being very dense, viciously spiny shrubs, they make very effective barriers impenetrable to burglars.

I want two names for my future babies, pero ayokong mahirapan sila sa pagsusulat ng pangalan nila habang sila ay lumalaki. So I chose those names na may three to six letters. ^__^ I consider as well the initials of my parents and Sepo's. And it sounds like our names too, Katherine and Joseph Carlo.

Ada Catrin for my baby girl and Cid Arrlo for my baby boy! Aga magisip para sa pangalan, wala pa man din eh noh? Haha!

I made this blog and named it for my future baby Ada Catrin. ^_^
